If you haven’t read Carol Dweck’s book, Mindset, you really should.  Especially if you’re a teacher or administrator, or really, anyone who works with anyone doing anything.  The whole book is about shifting from a mindset that says that you are what you are and you won’t be able to change it because your abilities, talents, and intellect are FIXED, and recognizing that all those things, your abilities, talents, and intellect can be honed and improved through effort, practice, and (gasp!) failure.  This mindset that says that you can be more than you are today is a GROWTH mindset.  And that’s something that’s worth grasping.

Since this is also one of the big focuses for our students (and parents and teachers) for next year, I was looking for some inspirational quotes.  And because I am a Pinterest collector (I love finding things with pictures), I thought I’d share what I’ve found so far.  Do you have a “mindset” story or resource?  Feel free to share it in the comments.
