Basic Guidelines and Info About How We Roll

Comment Policy

Simply put, be nice, please. I know that this world can be pretty competitive and opinionated, and sometimes we get frustrated or annoyed at others who hold different views or opinions; however, this is not the place for harsh criticisms or negativity. We are in this together. We’re on the same team to make our students’ learning experience amazing! And while I welcome ideas from readers of all walks of life, I simply ask that those ideas be expressed with respect for one another and a little (or a lot) of patience.

Disclosure Policy

Since you’re reading my blog (and this disclosure policy), you probably dabble in technology. So you may know that in 2009, our friends at the Federal Trade Commission {FTC} revised their guidelines regarding endorsements and testimonials in order to protect the public from any intentionally errant or misleading advertising that has been paid for by a group or company. Since this blog is a source of income and may occasionally incorporate endorsements or testimonials, I felt it was important to disclose the following to you, my readers:

  • The content of this blog may at some point be a source of income for me, and therefore I may use it to promote products, services, or other businesses.
  • I will only choose to promote products/services/businesses that I have, in fact, used and that I feel will be useful and helpful to our readers.
  • Products provided to me by my advertising partners for review are given free of charge with no cost to myself. But, I think it’s super important to always give my honest opinion.  So, just because they provide a product for review, this does not ensure a positive review of the product in any way.
  • You can trust me. I will always give my genuine opinion about a product or service whether or not I am partnering with the service provider and/or receiving payment to do so.
  • I would never compromise the truth just to make a buck. Ever.
  • Mentions of associated products/services/businesses within the content of this blog may or may not be noted as an affiliate in every reference.

You, my readers and partners in education, are important to me, and I want to make sure everything stays friendly and above board.  I know we can do it!
